If last year the tendency of fashion brands was to move to the 70's, this season Mango bet in the 80s. The Catalan company has just launched its autumn/winter 2016 campaign, coinciding with the imminent end of September.
The films of the 80s and road movies of the 80s and early 90s inspired this collection, which mixes decades and style showing that when it comes to risk, anything goes. The spot of the campaign was conducted in California and has a staging of the most cool. Starring two models and its stunning classic car, we see as they parade through the desert on your car in the style of a Tarantino film.
Handle bet by the combination of patterns so bold as Tiger, Leopard, tartan and flowers. Anything goes in a collection that baby of underground movements and the aesthetics of the 80's.
We also find shelter oversize garments, in colours such as grey, electric blue and other more autumnal shades. The shirts style nerd - a clear nod to Gucci - also part of the campaign. The fishnets are imposed with force: they are an iconic piece of the 80s aesthetic, and Mango wants them to get to go out with them.
Animal print is one of the prints of fashion of the last few seasons: the Spanish firm bets on tops in this pattern, as well as furry coats and even mini-dresses for the most daring. See the leather and vinyl in jackets and miniskirts. A nod to Punk and Rock of the time.
Impossible not to be fascinated with the new proposals of the brand. We find most daring pieces and other more classic, but all perfect to wear on the street. From now you need garments of Scottish printing in your closet, without forget the fishnets.
